531 Strength
Privacy Policy
This policy applies to all information collected or submitted to the software application 531 Strength.
Information we collect
Technical basics
All data provided by you — your exercises, logged workouts, sets, notes, and app settings — is stored locally on the device and is only accessible to you. We do not operate a server that stores this data, and we never receive a copy of it. If you choose to back up or export your data, a copy is shared through your device’s standard share options to a destination you select (for example Google Drive or your device’s file storage), and that copy remains under your control.
Ads and analytics
The app collects aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app.
We may work with analytics companies to help us understand how the app is being used, such as the frequency and duration of usage. We may work with advertisers and third party advertising networks, who need to know how you interact with advertising provided in the app which helps us keep the cost of the app. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the app, including, but not limited to, the unique identification ID of your mobile device. To protect the anonymity of this information, we use an encryption technology to help ensure that these third parties can’t identify you personally. These third parties may also obtain anonymous information about other applications you’ve downloaded to your mobile device, the mobile websites you visit, your non-precise location information (e.g., your zip code), and other non- precise location information in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising on the app and elsewhere. We may also share encrypted versions of information you have provided in order to enable our partners to append other available information about you for analysis or advertising related use.
Information usage
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the app and customer support.
We may disclose the information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
We may disclose the information to advertisers and third party advertising networks and analytics companies as described in the section above.
Data retention
Your workout data is stored only on your device. It is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed, and is removed when you delete it. Because this data never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up or export it, we do not hold or retain a copy of it.
Backups and CSV exports are created only when you choose to make them, and are saved to a destination you select. Those copies remain under your control and are kept until you delete them.
Diagnostic and crash-report data collected through our analytics provider is retained for approximately 90 days and is then automatically deleted. Advertising identifiers and purchase records are processed by Google (AdMob) and are retained according to Google’s own policies.
Data deletion
Because your workout data is stored only on your device, you are always in full control of deleting it:
- Delete individual exercises or logged workouts directly within the app.
- Remove all app data at any time by uninstalling the app. This permanently erases all data stored on your device.
- Any backups or exports you created are deleted by removing them from wherever you saved them.
To request deletion of any diagnostic or crash-report data associated with your device, or if you have any other data-deletion request, email 531@jachobsen.io . Requests will be actioned within 30 days.
Your Consent
By using the app, you consent to our privacy policy.
